Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

As guidance from government and public health officials continues to evolve, Venous Health Centers at Cardiac Associates, P.C. is committed to maintaining the safety and overall wellbeing of patients and staff as a top priority.

We are Open and Taking the Following Measures to Ensure you have Safe, Healthy Access to our Services.

  • Compulsory Temperature Checks – Temperatures of our staff members are being taken daily to follow CDC Guidelines. We are screening our staff and following CDC guidelines regarding staff members who are ill or may have been potentially exposed to COVID-19. Our staff will not work if they were in contact with a COVID presumed-positive person.
  • Our staff are required to wear masks for your protection.
  • Compulsory Washing of Hands – Each of our staff are required to wash their hands before and after each patient visit and every two hours regardless of patient contact.
  • We are limiting the number of visitors permitted with a patient during their appointment to 1 person per a patient. This ensures that we can comply with CDC guidelines of social distancing while keeping groups of people low.
  • Compulsory Face mask: All patients and visitors are required to wear a facemask.
  • All patients and visitors are required to have their temperatures checked in our waiting room prior to checking-in to their appointment.
  • We also require each patient to fill out our COVID19 screening questionnaire prior to check in.
  • Alcohol based hand sanitizer will be provided in our waiting rooms for patients and visitors to use prior to being taken back to our exam rooms for your visit with our providers.
  • Once in our exam room each person is required to wash their hands with the provided antibacterial soap and water. Our staff members will enforce this for both your safety and ours by minimizing the risk of spreading bacteria.
  • All staff members will also wear new disposable gloves for each patient encounter.
  • Our staff members will also wipe down each patient exam room after each patient visit to maximize cleanliness for both our patients and staff.
  • Our staff members are also cleansing and disinfecting items or objects that patients encounter daily such as, chairs, tables, door handles, restrooms, waiting rooms, and our front desk countertops. This is done daily throughout the day starting in the morning then during noon time, and then repeated at the end of the day.
  • Prior to every visit, we will ask you covid-19 screening questions, to ensure symptomatic or at-risk patients reschedule their appointments to avoid community spread. All patients will be reminded at pre-visit phone confirmation to stay home and reschedule if they have any cough, fever, sore throat, or have been in contact with a COVID presumed-positive person or  have recently visited any country or state with a CDC Travel Alert Level 3 in the last 14 days.
  • We have Telemedicine options available.
